Kick off the weekend with great views and sampling of brews! This Friday OYC is teaming up our friends at Discretion Brewingto give you a sampling of some of their tasty brews, while sailing on the beautiful Monterey Bay. Gourmet pizza by Pleasure Pizza's East Side Eatery is included and Discretion's knowledgable staff will be pouring. Sail and get to know your local brewers! Tickets are $40 and advance purchase is strongly recommended.

The perfect way to end the day and start your evening is with a sail aboard the Team O'Neill catamaran! Join us as we sail alongside the Wednesday night sail boat races on Monterey Bay, where everyone wants to get a front row seat. Perfect for couples, families, celebrations or just a great way to get away for a while.

During these lovely evening sails you will:

• Experience the thrill and excitement as upwards of 50 local sailboats head out onto Monterey Bay for the Wednesday Night Races. There's no winner, just lots of fun, fast boats, and smiles all around!
• Savor the sea breezes and the colorful display of sailboats while relaxing on board with friends during this 1.5-hour sailing experience.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase and as always, packing a picnic dinner is encouraged.
Cruises are limited to 49 passengers, so don't miss this unique opportunity to cruise along the picturesque Santa Cruz coastline aboard the spacious 65' Team O’Neill catamaran.

Get to know your local brewers and come aboard for this fun cruise that'll get your weekend off to a great start. Tickets are $40 and advance purchase is strongly recommended.

Local Wine Tasting Sail with Bonny Doon Vineyard
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27 at 6 PM
TICKETS SOLD OUT!

Join Bonny Doon Vineyard aboard the Team O'Neill catamaran for an unforgettable Wednesday night cruise. Pouring signature varietals and pairing them with an array of treats and sweets, Bonny Doon sommeliers will provide a fun, interactive way for passengers to learn about wine against the backdrop of the local Wednesday night sailboat races. This 1.5-hour sail departs at 6 PM and tickets are $40.  

Summer Whale Watching Cruises

The Monterey Bay is currently experiencing some of the most frequent humpback whale activity of the year, and they have been continously spotted just off the Santa Cruz coastline. Though OYC sees many whales during our regular weekend sails, we're bringing you a extended sailing experience so we can take you further onto the bay to spot these summer whales. 

What's Included:

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND SAILS

This year, in addition to our fantastic weekend sails on Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25, we're offering a sweet 1.5-hour sail on Monday, May 26 so you can celebrate the long weekend from the best view in town.
On this sail, passengers will experience a relaxing sail along the Santa Cruz coastline, while also being in prime position to spot our beautiful marine life, including dolphins, sea otters, sea lions and whales.

Summer is back and so is our sailing season! To ring in the season, we welcome you to come celebrate your mom, grandma or special woman in your life on one of our amazing Mother's Day weekend sails. Not only will you experience a smooth and exciting way to see the Monterey Bay, but all moms aboard receive complimentary champagne and strawberries. Tickets are $20 and $30, and little sailors age 5 and under ride for free. Space is limited, so reserve your spots today.

Thank you for the best season at OYC yet!
Our 2013 season was a fantastic adventure that sailed by too fast for us. We sailed on more trips and had more people enjoy the Monterey Bay from the Team O'Neill catamaran than ever before, and for that we thank our wonderful passengers! We can't wait to tell our sailors what's new for next season, so check back with us soon!

With our first Wine Sail of the season with Muns Vineyard having been a huge success, we are thrilled to welcome Vino Tabi aboard next on Wednesday, July 17 at 6 PM! This special hour and a half sail gives passengers the opportunity to taste Vino Tabi's carefully crafted wines and delicious food pairings against the backdrop of the weekly sailboat races. This July through September we welcome Al Frisby & His One-Man New Orleans Band as our featured summer musician on our annual Music Cruises! These hour and a half Saturday afternoon sails invite you to enjoy the Monterey Bay accompanied by Frisby's bayou-inspired tunes, bringing a bit of the South to the West. Recent Wildlife Sightings

Pacific leatherback sea turtles have been spotted along the Santa Cruz coast over the past couple weeks! As the official California marine reptile, these endangered sea turtles are an amazing sight and rare to see in our area. They are the largest sea turtles and travel frequently. Be on the lookout for them on your next sail!
