Beer Sampling feat. Discretion Brewing | June 5 at 7:15 PM

Kicking off an exciting season of Local Beer Sampling Sails, Discretion Brewing will be coming aboard with a variety of their brews for you to enjoy, in addition to complimentary pizza. Uncommon Brewerscome aboard on June 12 and Santa Cruz Mountain Brewingjoins on June 26. Tickets are $40 and advance purchase is required.




Wine Tasting feat. Bonny Doon Vineyard | June 17 at 6:30 PM
Sip and sail your way around the bay as Bonny Doon Vineyard comes aboard with their signature varietals and light h'orderves. These sails are a fun way to learn about the winemaking process and take in the sights along the coastline. Private Vine Wines (formerly Vino Tabi Winery) will be featured on June 24. Tickets are $40 and advance purchase is required.



Independence Day Events | July 4th Afternoon & Evening Sails
Come celebrate Independence Day on one of our four exciting sails on Saturday, July 4. Our sails are a memorable way to enjoy the holiday and fun for the whole family. Join us during early in the day for afternoon sails or on our special 1.5-hour late evening sail, that will put you in prime position to view any of the fireworks. Get your tickets today!

The perfect way to end the day and start your evening is with a sail aboard the Team O'Neill catamaran! Join us as we sail alongside the Wednesday night sail boat races on Monterey Bay, where everyone wants to get a front row seat. Perfect for couples, families, celebrations or just a great way to get away for a while.

During these lovely evening sails you will:

• Experience the thrill and excitement as upwards of 50 local sailboats head out onto Monterey Bay for the Wednesday Night Races. There's no winner, just lots of fun, fast boats, and smiles all around!
• Savor the sea breezes and the colorful display of sailboats while relaxing on board with friends during this 1.5-hour sailing experience.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase and as always, packing a picnic dinner is encouraged.
Cruises are limited to 49 passengers, so don't miss this unique opportunity to cruise along the picturesque Santa Cruz coastline aboard the spacious 65' Team O’Neill catamaran.

Summer Whale Watching Cruises
Saturday mornings at 8 AM

The Monterey Bay is currently experiencing some of the most frequent humpback whale activity of the year, and they have been continously spotted just off the Santa Cruz coastline. Though OYC sees many whales during our regular weekend sails, we're bringing you a extended sailing experience so we can take you further onto the bay to spot these summer whales. 

What's Included:

• A 3 to 3.5-hour whale watch excursion, where we'll cruise around the bay in search of our local whale activity.
• A hot breakfast catered by Pleasure Pizza's East Side Eatery. Breakfast includes meat and veggie breakfast burritos, fresh seasonal fruit and your choice of coffee, tea or water.
• The best view of the Monterey Bay's wildlife on the smooth and stable 65' Team O'Neill catamaran. 

Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. Kids under 5 sail for free.

General Whale Activity by Season:

SPRING: Humpback whales throughout the spring, with a few gray whales in the beginning of the season.
SUMMER: Humpback whales, blue whales and fin whales.
FALL: Humpback whales and blue whales.
WINTER: Migrating gray whales.
YEAR-ROUND: Dolphins, sea lions, sea otters and local and migratory birds, looking for food or just playing in the ocean.
